Workers at a hotel in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional Capital in Ghanna, were greeted with a shocking scene, when Samuel Essah, a teacher, from Akyem Oda, was found in the hotel room helpless.
He was rushed to the Koforidua regional Government Hospital by a staff of the hotel but died the next day. Superintendent Richardson Kumekor confirmed the news to a correspondent of Starr FM.
According to the story, an accountant of the hotel lodged the complaint at the police station. The team dispatched to the scene discovered a left over bowl of rice and liquid substance in a Voltic bottle believed to be poison.
The body is yet to be transferred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in the capital for autopsy as to the real cause of the death.
But Starr News sources reveal that he committed suicide due to a failed relationship.
