It has been reported that Guinea is on the 42 day journey to be declared Ebola free. The last known Ebola case was in relation to a 21 day old baby girl. But sources say the baby has since been cured.
However, a woman at the Ebola center who is on the run has still not been found. But authorities say that is no problem at all.
For Guinea to be fully declared Ebola free, it has to maintain a clean sheet for the next 42 days. The authorities say they are determined to go out of the Ebola zone.
A few days ago, Sierra Leone was declared Ebola-free after it attained the 42 days of no new Ebola cases status. This left Guinea as the only country on the continent yet to be declared Ebola-free.
